Quotes and ordering

What should I send for a quote?

The RFQ form asks for your name, company, work email and project details. Add the fixtures or families of interest, location, quantities, timeline and specification requirements. Partial project information is accepted.

Do I need an account to request a quote?

No. The quote page is one page with no login or account. If it opens an email draft, review the draft and press Send in your mail app to send the inquiry.

How do contractors submit a schedule?

To bid a commercial job, the contractor page accepts a PDF or Excel fixture schedule and describes a return package with model-level quotation details and a compliance-package inventory. Use its schedule request route.

What lead times are published?

The distributor terms state 4–6 weeks from PO for stocked SKUs and 8–12 weeks for container-direct orders. These are the published distributor terms; include your required timeline when requesting the quotation.

Is there one minimum order quantity for the entire catalogue?

No single catalogue-wide quantity is published. The distributor page says MOQ is set per family and directs buyers to request the family sheet.

Payment, freight and distributor support

What payment terms apply to distributor orders?

For account setup, the distributor terms state Net-30 on established accounts and pre-pay or LC on a first order. Request the distributor packet to confirm the terms for your account.

What freight terms are published?

For shipment planning, the distributor page states FOB Los Angeles or Chicago for stocked SKUs and FOB Asia for container-direct orders. Use that page and the quotation to check the applicable shipping arrangement; no freight amount is published here.

Where are US warehouse locations listed?

For stocking discussions, the US operations and freight section lists Los Angeles and Chicago warehouses. The location list does not show live SKU inventory; include your model, quantity and required date in the inquiry.

Can a distributor request samples?

The published sample policy provides one working sample per family on the initial stocking order, credited against the first invoice. Additional demo samples are available on request for confirmed distributor accounts.

What documents can counter staff give customers?

To support a customer handoff, the sell-through support section lists a customer spec sheet, installer cutsheet, IES photometric file and warranty certificate. Request the packet for the selected model and accessories.

Is line-card and selectable-setting material available?

To prepare your line card or explain settings at the counter, request the distributor tools kit. The published list includes line-card copy, cross-reference sheets and selectable-CCT and selectable-wattage explainers.

Is marketing co-op support available?

For stocking distributors, the marketing co-op section describes MDF on qualifying purchases, issued per stocking level. Program details are available on request; no fixed allowance or reimbursement rate is published.

Catalogues, submittals and testing

How do I request the current catalogue?

For a line review, use the catalogue page to request the 2026 master catalogue PDF. That page also provides the IES-bundle request route. Check the current product families for the model information published online.

Where can I get a specification sheet?

Product pages link downloadable sheets where posted. Start with the product families or resources page. For documents not posted, request the specific model’s paperwork with the quotation.

How do I request IES files and test reports?

The spec-engineer page describes IES files and photometric reports released with the quotation. How we test states that per-fixture reports are issued on request. Name the model and configuration in the inquiry.

Which design tools can use the IES files?

For lighting calculations, the spec-engineer page names AGi32, DIALux and Visual. Request the IES file and photometric report for the exact proposed configuration through that page.

Can I send a fixture schedule for a cross-reference?

For a substitution review, send the model number or fixture schedule as PDF or Excel. The cross-reference page describes a closest-fit comparison of distribution, output, CCT/CRI, voltage, dimensions and warranty, and says when no honest fit exists.

Which certifications apply to a fixture?

Check the specific model’s listing information on its product-family page and request the supporting document. Ratings and listings apply to the specific SKU; a mark on one model is not a blanket statement about every fixture.

Can Allmax help with DLC rebate documentation?

The distributor page states that we provide a DLC QPL Product ID where issued and, where the utility requires it, the source report. Read the DLC buyer guide for the checks to make with the utility.

What does an unpublished measurement mean?

For a submittal, keep an unmeasured value unresolved. The spec-engineer page says a metric under characterization does not appear until measured. Ask about the specific missing metric instead of filling it from another model.

What testing does the site describe?

For an evidence review, How we test describes rain and wet-location testing, voltage burn-in, thermal cycling and photometric measurement. Request the per-fixture dated report; a process description is separate from the model's rating or listing.

Are changed test protocols versioned?

To preserve the basis of a specification, How we test says revised protocols are versioned rather than quietly replaced. Keep the edition used for your submittal and request the dated report for the selected fixture.

Where do I obtain driver and LED component information?

For a specification or service review, the documentation section describes dated driver-brand, LED-bin and origin disclosures released with the quotation. Ask for the document for your exact SKU.

Product options and written requirements

Which fixtures have 347 V or 480 V options?

The voltage directory lists models whose product pages publish those input options. Check the exact model and driver option; the availability of an option in one family does not establish it for another.

Can I submit a written product requirement?

Yes. The capabilities page describes engineering from written specification through design, prototyping and volume production. Send your requirements through RFQ; that process does not guarantee acceptance of every requested modification.

Service and warranty

Where are the warranty terms?

The warranty page publishes the standard commercial term and the optional extended term for select SKUs. The full dated warranty document, exclusions and qualifying-SKU list are released with the quotation. Request that document for the proposed model.

When does the standard warranty period start?

For warranty administration, the warranty page states a standard commercial term of five years from the manufacturing date printed on the SKU document. Select SKUs have an optional seven-year term; request the dated terms for the proposed model.

What failure categories does the warranty page list?

For claim preparation, the published coverage list names driver failure, LED-module failure, housing or structural failure under specified operating conditions, and photometric performance within the stated depreciation curve. The full document supplies exclusions and specific terms.

Is separate portal registration required for the standard warranty?

For the installing party, the registration section places registration on the certificate shipped with the fixture. It says separate portal enrollment is not required for the standard term. Retain the certificate with the installation record.

How do I make a warranty claim?

The warranty page gives the contact and requests the model number, install date, purchase channel and a photograph of the label. Warranty claims are routed separately from sales.

Can a distributor handle a warranty claim directly?

For stocking distributors, the warranty pass-through section describes a certificate issued in the distributor's name on each PO. It permits the distributor to honor claims without requiring the end-installer to route to Allmax; consult the dated warranty document.

Where can maintenance staff find replacement-part guidance?

For a fixture in service, the contractor page states that the SKU document names the replacement driver or LED-module part. Request that document for the installed model before selecting a part.

Independent sales representatives

How does a rep agency start a conversation?

To discuss carrying the line, the rep page asks for an agency introduction and the territories covered. Use its request route and review the current product families before discussing a line-card fit.

Are rep commissions and territory protection fixed publicly?

For agency planning, the published interim approach handles commissions and protection terms in conversation with agency principals. The formal program is described as planned for Q1 2027; no numerical commission schedule is published.

Can rep agencies request working samples?

For a demonstration kit, the rep sample policy describes working samples of the current top-eight SKUs after signing an interim rep agreement. This is a separate policy from distributor stocking-order samples.

Which rep collateral is available today?

For specification meetings, the collateral list includes family spec sheets, the 2026 line-card overview, cross-reference sheets and IES files. Request the current materials through the rep introduction route.

Is the rep order-status portal open?

For order tracking, the rep page lists the online portal among items planned for Q1 2027. It describes the current path as direct conversation; it does not publish a live portal here.

Federal and institutional documentation

Is a family name enough to establish TAA eligibility?

For a federal submittal, no. The federal-buyer page determines eligibility per SKU and describes a counsel-issued attestation released with the quotation. Request the letter for each scheduled SKU; use the letter itself in compliance review.

Is an origin determination available for the supplied lot?

For traceability, the lot-document section describes an origin determination held with each lot record. Request the determination for the lot required by your project rather than treating a family description as the record.

How are BABA and Section 889 requests handled?

For procurement review, the federal page describes BABA determinations per project and Section 889 confirmation per SKU on request. Both are issued in writing. Request the applicable documents with the project and SKU list.

What goes in the federal compliance package?

For the bid file, the package list includes per-SKU attestation, per-lot origin, listing certificates where issued, LM-79 and LM-80 reports, IES files, a DLC QPL Product ID where issued and a warranty statement. Section 889 and project-specific BABA documents are on request.

Does the site publish completed federal registrations?

For vendor qualification, the corporate-registration section currently marks CAGE, SAM.gov registration and GSA schedule as pending. Do not treat those entries as completed registrations; raise your bid requirements through the compliance-package request route.
