A brand that manufactures its own goods
Allmax has been in lighting since 1966. The company is headquartered in Taiwan and runs US operations across four cities — Los Angeles, Chicago, Arizona, and New York — with US warehousing in Los Angeles and Chicago.
How the manufacturing network is held
LED manufacturing runs across six countries: China, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Cambodia, and Taiwan. The network is 100+ manufacturing partners, 50 of them in LED, held through a mix of self-ownership, joint ventures, and long-term contract and strategic partnerships.
That mix is the honest description. Allmax is not a marketing brand that contracts a fixture out and puts its name on the box, and it is not a single plant either. It is a manufacturer that owns the parts of the chain that determine whether a specification can be defended, and contracts the rest under long-term agreements.
Why the structure matters to a specifier
Because design, engineering, manufacturing, testing, and support sit inside one accountable company, the documentation for a fixture ends at Allmax. The paper trail does not route through two countries and three companies before someone can answer a question about a driver, an LED bin, or a country of origin.
